Davies plays down derby encounter

The East Midlands rivals meet at the City Ground on Saturday with both sides riding high in the table - City are third and Forest are right behind them just two points further back.[LNB]A win for the Reds would see them leapfrog the Foxes and extend their unbeaten league run to 11 matches but Davies remained coy on the significance of the fixture.[LNB]"Yes it's a derby game and yes it's third against fourth in the table but I see it just as any other game - it's just another three points," said the Scot. "It's not important in any other sense as it's only December and you don't win anything in December.[LNB]"It's just another game along the way for us but hopefully, further into the season, we will be involved in what you might call some 'big games.'[LNB]"For the fans it's an important game as regards the bragging rights, but for me it's only an important game because it is the next game and the next game is always the most important."[LNB][LNB]
