Davies: More signings still necessary
Billy Davies is delighted with the signing of George Boyd - but the Nottingham Forest boss insists further additions to the squad are needed.
The Reds have signed Boyd on loan from Championship rivals Peterborough until the end of the season.
Davies hopes the club`s board will heed his advice again and sanction more new arrivals as the promotion race reaches its final furlong.
"I am pleased the acquisitions panel has listened to my January recommendations regarding new signings," said Davies. "George is a name that had been mentioned in the past. He is a name we had identified previously.
"Now we have made one signing, I would say more are still necessary. But, as I said, this was my recommendation back in January. It is good that it is being listened to now - in March."
