Davies keen to shake up Forest side

Forest are in danger of relegation to League One - they are 22nd in the standings, one point from safety - and Davies, who was appointed in January, admits his task is a tough one. "This is a very difficult managerial job to be in," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "It was difficult to come in and work with this group of players - particularly with the injuries we picked up and particularly with the failure to bring anyone in in January. "You have to find a balance to the team, you have to find partnerships within the side. It is very difficult to try to achieve that at the minute. "We need to get to the summer, if we are honest, and put in place the things we want to do. But the quicker we get to that point the better because we need to get a pre-season under our belts. "With no disrespect to any previous people, we need a Billy Davies pre-season then we will see what happens."
