Davies keen to bolster strike options

Davies saw Nathan Tyson limp off during Saturday's impressive 1-0 victory at Reading with a groin strain.[LNB]The striker's injury should only keep him out for around a week, but with Adam Nowland (hamstring) also out and Emile Sinclair having returned to Macclesfield on loan, Davies is left thin on the ground in attacking areas.[LNB]"A striker does become a priority," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "We know that we need to bring somebody in when you look at the injuries we have now.[LNB]"We have spoken about a few people, we have made a few phone calls and fingers crossed, we are hopeful of getting something done before Tuesday.[LNB]"We are getting to the stage in the season where players are getting physically and mentally tired. It would be a nice time to bring in fresh faces, even if there are one or two guys coming back to full fitness."[LNB][LNB]
