Forest are chasing a second successive win when the two sides meet after defeating Reading on Saturday, while Preston look to consolidate their play-off place. Davies, who spent four years at Preston and twice guided them into the play-offs, said, "I think Alan Irvine and his players have done a fantastic job. "I know the club very well and there are still a lot of players that I worked with years ago. "They are an excellent, hard-working side and they will make life very difficult for us but we're going into the game on the back of a great result and our players are very confident."
