Davies frustrated by striker hunt

Forest have managed to score just 41 goals all season - the seventh lowest tally in the division - and Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves left them two points adrift of safety.[LNB]Davies believed that he had secured a deal to bring Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood back to the City Ground last week, but it appears the player is now set to join Wolves, and Davies is becoming frustrated at the lack of support he can offer top scorer Rob Earnshaw.[LNB]"The problem still remains, there are certain types of strikers required at the football club, we know that," he said.[LNB]"When you come up against Wolves and they've got (Sam) Vokes and the (Chris) Iwelumos, then you know that's exactly what's required at times and we're trying very hard to do that.[LNB]"We all know it's difficult for Robbie, he's up there playing by himself. He's not a lone striker but we're having to do all we can to protect and to work away in different areas."[LNB][LNB]
