Three separate landmarks pleased Billy Davies as the Reds kept the pressure on West Brom at the top of the table A 2-0 win against Paul Hart's Crystal Palace on Tuesday night means the Baggies are now only 5 points clear ahead of their game against Coventry City. While automatic promotion remains a long shot, Davies was keen to praise his side after they notched up a 12th straight home win, equalling a club record. "It's great that we have equalled the record of home wins but I am thrilled about the fact that we have kept our 18th clean sheet of the season," said the Scot. "We've hit the 70-point mark now and that's a fantastic achievement for a team who were fighting relegation at this stage of last season." Hart meanwhile was left to reflect on what he felt was the turning point of the game, Matt Lawrence's sending-off. "With 11 men on the field I always felt we would get something out of the game," was the former Forest boss's verdict. "I thought we should have had a free-kick in the incident before Matt Lawrence was sent off so it was a bit hard to swallow."
