Davies delighted with FA selection

England 2018 deputy chairman Lord Mawhinney announced the successful candidates on Wednesday which included Milton Keynes, Plymouth and several venues yet to be built - including Forest's proposed new stadium.[LNB]The Reds plan to build a 45,000 all-seater stadium in the Gamston area of Nottingham, less than a mile from their City Ground home.[LNB]Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle/Gateshead, Sheffield and Sunderland were also chosen to host games should England's bid to stage the tournament is successful. Fellow Midlands cities Derby and Leicester, along with Hull, did not make the list.[LNB]Davies said: "It's fantastic news. I spoke to the chairman about it and it's wonderful for the city of Nottingham and obviously the football club with their new stadium.[LNB]"It enables them to look forward to the future so it is a wonderful time for the football club and the people of Nottingham."[LNB][LNB]
