Bennett boost for Forest
Nottingham Forest defender Julian Bennett has stepped up his return from injury with another outing for the reserves.
The 25-year-old played an hour in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Northampton at the City Ground on Tuesday afternoon.
He came through the game unscathed as Forest won 3-1 thanks to goals from Garath McCleary, Danny Elliott and Nathan Tyson.
Bennett hit the comeback trail last week with a 45-minute appearance for the second string against Coventry after 14 months out with knee ligament damage.
