Barker happy to be beside the seaside
The 26-year-old centre-half, voted players' player of the year at Bloomfield Road, has been linked with Leicester, Derby, Nottingham Forest and former manager Simon Grayson's Leeds.[LNB]Barker told the Blackpool Gazette: "If you hear other clubs are interested it is nice, a bit of an ego boost for yourself I suppose.[LNB]"But I've heard nothing about anything more definite, so at the moment it's just speculation.[LNB]"If you play a few games for a club it's always likely that clubs are going to watch. It's then about whether or not another club takes it a step further, which you never know."[LNB]Barker added: "A couple of years ago there was speculation about Leeds. I've played another two seasons at Blackpool since and been very happy here and there's no reason why that shouldn't carry on. The last three years have been the happiest of my life."[LNB][LNB]
