A Top Three Test for Freedman's Forest

24 February 2015 17:07
Nottingham Forest's fragile play-off ambitions will be tested to the full by Bournemouth on Wednesday night

Saturday's victory against Bolton Wanderers made it three out of four and ten points from twelve for Dougie Freedman but he was quick to play down talk afterwards of a push for the top six.

Maybe that was because his games in charge have been against opponents all struggling in the bottom-half of the Championship table.

But you can only beat the team in front of you (something Forest were not doing under Stuart Pearce) and the Reds eased past Bolton Wanderers with a swagger that showed confidence is flowing through their veins at present.

Bournemouth, currently third in the table and with plenty of goalscoring threats at their disposal, will provide a stern test but anything seems possible at present for Freedman and his men.
