Roeder unsure on loanee Lita

Glenn Roeder is unsure whether he will be able to tempt Leroy Lita into signing a permanent contract with Norwich City.

The striker, on loan from Reading, scored the only goal of the game as the Canaries beat Charlton Athletic to move five points clear of the bottom three.

Roeder told City's official website: "We'd miss Leroy Lita but we've got him for two more games and we have to enjoy him for those two games.

"Hopefully he'll score more goals in those games and we'll pick up points, but whatever happens after that we'll have to wait and see.

"It's in Reading's hands. They've done us a great favour by letting him come here and I'd like to think we've repaid the favour by playing him and getting him match-fit.

"He was fit when he came here but he wasn't match-fit and if Steve Coppell takes him back in January he can play him at a drop of a hat because he's fully match-fit."
