Roeder makes triple swoop

Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder has signed three players as he continues to strengthen his squad in readiness for the new Championship campaign.

Celtic defender John Kennedy moves to Carrow Road on loan until the beginning of January while former Leyton Orient goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has signed a permanent one-year contract after impressing in pre-season training.

Portsmouth striker Omar Alieu Koroma will also join the Canaries on a season-long loan deal if international clearance from the Gambia FA is received.

Pompey boss Harry Redknapp told The News: "OJ has done well. He's only 18 and I think he's a real prospect.

"He's quick and he's got a lot of everything, and the kid wants to do well, he's willing to learn. He's not ready for the Premier League but he's still young so his time can come."
