Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder hopes to tempt Manchester City striker Ched Evans back to Carrow Road for a second loan spell.
The 20-year-old Wales international enjoyed a successful time with the Canaries last term, scoring ten goals in 28 appearances for the club.
"I think Ched is on a lot of peoples' radar, but I think (Manchester City manager) Mark (Hughes) has made it perfectly clear that until he gets somebody in, in a striking role, he won't be letting any of his surplus strikers out," Roeder told The Pink'un.
"I don't know officially if he's up for sale, but it would make sense because other people we've enquired for have said 'you'll have to wait and see'.
"He could become available on loan at the end of January but at the moment we'd be looking for a sale.
"He got a lot of experience here last year and he had a little bit of it at the beginning of the season at Manchester City."
