Rigters blow hits Canaries

Loanee Maceo Rigters is unlikely to play for Norwich City again this season after tearing a hamstring. The Blackburn Rovers wideman only joined the Canaries on loan two weeks ago but he lasted just ten minutes of Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Bristol City. Rigters, who was making his second appearance for the Championship club, has now returned to Ewood Park for treatment. "I'd be very surprised if we see him again," admitted manager Glenn Roeder. "When they pull up that sharp, it's like a hot knife in your leg. "There'll be a serious amount of bleeding in the hamstring and those can take five, six or seven weeks to recover."
