Martin strikes to down Leeds
27 Mar 2010 - 17:40:22
Norwich City are a massive 11 points clear at the top of League One after a last-minute Chris Martin gaol gave them a 1-0 win at home to closest rivals Leeds United.
Millwall hit five to record a comfortable victory over Stockpot County at The Den.
Steve Morrison, Danny Schofield and Jonathan Obika all got their name on the scoresheet as did Stockport's Danny Swailes and Paul Huntington, unfortunately they both netted own goals.
Charlie Austin scored the only goal of the game to give Swindon Town all three points against Hartlepool, he struck after 22 minutes and the hosts had no response.
Kyel Reid cancelled out Jordan Rhodes' opener to help Charlton Athletic to a point away at Huddersfield Town.
Ian Henderson looked to have won the game for Colchester against Wycombe, but an injury-time goal by Gareth Ainsworth levelled the game for the visitors and salvaged a point.
An Anthony Grant own goal gifted Bristol Rovers a 4-3 win over Southend United.
The home side came from two goals down to draw level, but a Scott Vernon brace helped Southend to go into injury time level at 3-3. The unfortunate Grant then found the back of his own net four minutes into added time.
Ten-man Gillingham rescued a valuable draw against MK Dons thanks to a goal from Andy Barcham.
The home side had trailed 2-1 and with Dennis Oli sent off things looked grave, but Barcham equalised with 25 minutes remaining and they managed to hold on for a draw.
Lewis Grabban scored the only goal of the game to give Brentford a 1-0 win over Leyton Orient.
Brighton completed a comfortable 3-0 win over Tranmere Rovers thanks to goals from Glenn Murray, Andrew Crofts and Ashley Barnes.
Goals from Matt Taylor and Ryan Harley helped Exeter to a 2-1 win over Walsall, Julian Gray pulled one back for the visitors, but it made no difference to the result.
