Midfielder Simon Lappin is staying with Norwich City despite their relegation, after signing a new two-year contract.
Lappin, 26, has been with the Canaries since January 2007 and will remain at Carrow Road despite the club's slide into League One.
"I'm glad to get it done now so I can just get on with playing football. I told the manager I wanted to be here and I'm happy it's sorted," he told the club's official website.
"It's been a tough year but this is a challenge we're all looking forward to and I just can't wait to get the season started.
"I want us to go back up to the Championship and we need to believe we can do that - there's no point in turning up if we don't believe we can do it.
"We've got a good enough squad of players and there'll be one or two additions as well, so we all have to believe we can go back up."
