Lambert: I will not panic

Published: 07 Feb 2010 - 10:42:06

Norwich boss Paul Lambert refused to reach for the panic button after the 2-1 defeat at Millwall and backed his side to return to winning ways at Brighton.Norwich opened the scoring through Chris Martin's low curling free-kick after just four minutes but goals from Tony Craig and Neil Harris turned the game on its head and saw Jackett's men move up to fifth in League One.The Canaries had recorded eight successive league victories and were unbeaten in League One since October prior to their trip to the New Den.And Lambert said: "The lads have been brilliant, as one defeat in nearly four months shows. It was difficult (against Millwall) but we will bounce back. We knew it would be a hard game and there wasn't much in it. Grant Holt will be back next week and we'll try and win the next game."Most teams try to man-mark Wes Hoolahan - it's their prerogative and Millwall are a good side. You can't win every game. Our fan base and the crowds that we generate are fantastic."Other sides want to beat us because of the club we are, but ask any manager in the land for the run we've had and they would take it."
