Keeper Ruddy joins Canaries

Norwich City have completed the signing of goalkeeper John Ruddy for an undisclosed fee from Premier League side Everton.

The 23-year-old, who started his career with Cambridge United, made just one senior appearance for the Toffees, as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers in February 2006.

More recently he has impressed during loan spells away from Goodison Park, showing up well at both Stockport County and Crewe Alexandra.

Last season Ruddy was one of Motherwell's star performers as they finished in fifth place in the SPL and qualified for the Europa League.

Ruddy is the second major arrival at Carrow Road this summer, with midfielder Andrew Surman having already joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
