Fozzy wants Norwich stay

Norwich City midfielder Mark Fotheringham is desperate to impress Canaries boss Peter Grant and earn a new long-term contract at Carrow Road.

Fotheringham arrived at the Championship club in January after a brief spell in Swiss football and was handed a contract until the end of the season.

But after making an impressive start to life in Norwich during his first six appearances, the former Celtic youngster would like to extend his stay in East Anglia.

"I love it here and I want to be here long term," he told the club's official website.

"We will see what happens. It's a great stadium to play football and the fans are really welcoming and we have a good bunch of boys."
