Earnshaw to remain a Canary

Norwich City boss Peter Grant has reiterated his desire to keep star striker Robert Earnshaw at Carrow Road.

The Wales international has bagged 13 goals in the Championship this season and has been linked with a move to the Premiership in January's transfer window.

But Grant has warned off any suitors by claiming the club's prize asset won't be sold off in the New Year.

"As long as I'm manager here I want Robbie Earnshaw to be here," he said.

"The Premiership is the place everyone wants to play, but it would take a hell of a lot of money to move Robbie Earnshaw.

"I want to keep him here. I would rather they kept their money and let me keep Robbie Earnshaw.

"People say I could take the money and bring in two or three players, but I would rather have Robbie here."
