    Dynamic Canaries set new record

    30 Jan 2010 - 17:28:32

Norwich City won a club record 11th consecutive home game as they came from a goal down to beat Hartlepool 2-1 at Carrow Road.

Neil Austin gave Hartlepool the lead, before the Canaries' Cody McDonald and Michael Rose made the scoreline a little more familiar.

Leeds United managed to win their first match since their 1-0 defeat of Manchester United in the FA Cup, thanks to a Jermaine Beckford double.

Southampton compounded more misery on Stockport as they won 2-0 at St Mary's. Ricky Lambert and N'Daiye Papa Waigo grabbed the goals for the Saints after the hour.

Millwall managed a great 1-0 win over Brighton at the Withdean Stadium, with striker Steve Morison grabbing another goal for the Lions shortly after half-time.

Wycombe won a five-goal thriller against Bristol Rovers, with Stuart Beavon grabbing a crucial winner with ten minutes remaining.

The Chairboys had taken the lead from the penalty spot through Matt Harrold, before the Pirates' Chris Lines grabbed a four-minute brace shortly before half-time.

Wycombe were not to be denied a great victory however, with Alex Revell scoring another goal from the spot before Beavon's winner.

Carlisle and Leyton Orient played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Brunton Park. Joe Anyinsah and Ian Harte put the Cumbrian side 2-0 up at the break, before goals from Ryan Jarvis and an own goal by Danny Livesey won Orient a point.

Another 2-2 draw was played out at Roots Hall as Southend scored two goals in the final five minutes to secure a point against Swindon. Scott Spencer and Pat Baldwin scored the goals for Southend, after Billy Paynter and Charlie Austin had given Swindon a 2-0 lead inside the opening ten minutes.

Huddersfield's new loan signing from Liverpool, Nathan Eccleston, scored the only goal of the game as they defeated Yeovil away from home, 1-0.

Tranmere and Charlton played out a 1-1 draw at The Valley, with a Sam Sodje own goal giving Tranmere the lead, before Phil Parkinson's side levelled through Nicky Bailey.

It was also 1-1 in Milton Keynes, as the Dons conceded a stoppage-time goal to Exeter's Barry Corr after taking the lead through Sam Baldock shortly after half time.

Finally, Gillingham and Walsall played out a goalless draw at the Priestfield Stadium.
