Norwich City left-back Adam Drury is preparing for a fight to secure his future at Carrow Road in the coming months.
The 29-year-old hasn't featured for the Canaries since the arrival of new boss Glenn Roeder, but is close to a return to full fitness after a serious knee injury.
He told the Evening News: "When a new manager comes in he has his own ideas, his own tactics and his own way of doing things and he wants to do his own thing.
"So yes, you do worry about it - I have not played one game or trained one day with the new gaffer yet, so it is going to be like a new start for me.
"When I come back it will be a bit like a new player coming in and he will obviously make his opinion of what he thinks of me when he sees me train and play, so I have to go out and do the best I can."
