Norwich City boss Peter Grant is keen to bring Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall back to Carrow Road, after injury put paid to his initial loan stay.
The 22-year-old is back with the Bhoys as he recovers from an ankle injury sustained early on in the 4-0 FA Cup fifth round defeat at Chelsea, but Grant would like to get Marshall back next season.
He told the Evening News: "David Marshall came down to see us last week. We're keeping in contact every week and we are keeping an eye on his progress.
"David has made it known to one or two up in Scotland that he'd love to come to Norwich.
"I've marked Gordon Strachan's card that if David is available we'd be very interested, whether it's a permanent move or even a loan."
Marshall has been with Celtic for more than four years, but has seen his first-team opportunities limited due to the form of Artur Boruc in the last couple of years.
