Norwich City boss Peter Grant has moved into the loan market to snap up Stoke City winger Luke Chadwick.
The 25-year-old former Manchester United star has agreed a deal that will keep him at Carrow Road until January 3.
The Canaries tried to sign Chadwick in the summer and the player told the club's official website: "I was devastated when the move fell through, but I'm delighted to be joining now.
"I'm thrilled to be coming to Norwich. I know Peter Grant from our time at West Ham and Norwich City is a tremendous club."
Chadwick made 25 Premiership appearances for Manchester United and spent loan spells with Royal Antwerp, Reading and Burnley before moving to West Ham United on a free transfer in August 2004.
He made 32 league appearances for the Hammers, before sealing a £100,000 transfer to Stoke in January after enjoying a successful loan spell with the Potters.
