Canaries still want Marshall

Norwich City boss Peter Grant has refused to admit defeat in his pursuit of Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall.

The Canaries have already had one bid for the 22-year-old rejected by Celtic, but Grant believes the Championship club could still capture a player who spent time on loan at Carrow Road last season.

"I would like to bring David to Carrow Road and I think he would go on to be an excellent goalkeeper for Norwich City," he told the club's official website.

"But we had an offer rejected by Celtic, who are in a position of strength.

"We are disappointed not to be moving that situation forward, but I will not give up on that.

"We are looking to get players in and we have made a lot of enquiries."
