Norwich City captain Mark Fotheringham is keen to resolve his future by agreeing a new contract at Carrow Road.
The 24-year-old midfielder is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, but is hoping to put pen to paper on a new deal sooner rather than later.
Fotheringham was handed the captain's armband following the arrival of Glenn Roeder as manager in October.
The former Celtic and Dundee player was brought to Carrow Road in January 2007 from Swiss Super League side FC Aarau.
"In terms of myself I want to be here, so hopefully they can get it sorted as soon as possible," he said, referring to a new contract.
"I'm just concentrating on Sheffield Wednesday (on Sunday). We need to go there and put on a performance to end the season on a high."
