Norwich City boss Glenn Roeder promised to make changes after seeing his side spoil Dion Dublin's farewell by losing 4-1 at Sheffield Wednesday.
The 39-year-old was given a rousing reception by both sets of fans at Hillsborough and Roeder was disgusted by the display from most of his players.
He told the club's official website: "I'm not surprised both sets of fans applauded Dion, he's an immense character and he's had a marvellous career.
"Dion was emotional about the reception he received and it takes a lot to get Dion emotional.
"But the lads are really disappointed that they haven't given Dion a decent send-off by losing 4-1 and the last three goals were all down to mistakes and poor defending.
"It's just not good enough. We've got a lot of players out of contact now.
"Some of them will be staying and some of them will be going. There are too many who have got too used to losing and I don't want that around the place.
"So it's going to be a busy summer with a major rebuilding going on and I know the board will do everything they can to support me."
