Canaries opt to set Killen free

Norwich City manager Bryan Gunn has allowed striker Chris Killen to return to Celtic after failing to settle into his loan spell south of the border. The New Zealand international has struggled to hold down a starting place since joining the Canaries on a season-long loan in January. "He is still contracted to us and we can call on him in the next eight games," Gunn told the Eastern Daily Press. "But it is a convenient thing to do and a compassionate decision. "It's better than him travelling around the country every weekend and watching from the stands."
