Canaries move for Camp

Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign Derby County goalkeeper Lee Camp on a three-month loan.

The 22-year-old England Under-21 international will head to Carrow Road after returning from international duty and challenge Paul Gallacher for a starting spot.

The Canaries turned to Camp after youngster Joe Lewis suffered a fractured cheekbone in a reserve team game and City boss Nigel Worthington is happy with his new arrival.

He told the club's official website: "With the injury to Joe, we needed to bring in experienced cover for Paul Gallacher.

"If the loan deal is finalised it will be an opportunity for Lee to come in and challenge Paul for the number one position and I would be delighted to get him."
