Canaries aim to keep Etuhu

Norwich City boss Peter Grant will fight to keep Dickson Etuhu at Carrow Road despite reported interest from Derby County. The 25-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to the Rams where he would link up with former Canaries striker Robert Earnshaw, who completed a £3.5million move to Premier League club earlier in the week. But Grant wants to keep the Nigerian midfielder at the club after revealing Etuhu is a key part of his plans for next season. "I'm not surprised at that (speculation). He's been top class for us but we want Dickson Etuhu here. He's a big part of my plans," he told the Norwich Evening News. "I think he proved that last season, the way he handled the critics and the way he has worked his socks off during the summer and I'm desperately hoping he stays part of that."
