Busy times for Roeder

Norwich City have wrapped up the permanent signing of midfielder Matt Pattison from Newcastle United.

The 21-year-old has already impressed while on loan with City and has now agreed a contract running until the summer of 2011, with an undisclosed fee sealing his switch to East Anglia.

Joining Pattison at Carrow Road is young Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand, who has linked up with City on loan until the end of the season after ending a spell with Oldham Athletic.

Roeder added: "We have been following Ryan at Oldham and we've been very impressed. We believe he can step up to the Championship and help us to pick up as many points as we can."

Derby County left-back Mo Camara has also extended his loan stay with the Canaries until the end of the season.

However, midfielder Jimmy Smith has left Carrow Road at the end of his loan spell to return to Chelsea.
