Whaley wings in after Dale do deal
Whaley - who made his name with Dale's neighbours Bury - was signed by former manager Bryan Gunn from Preston during the summer but has been frozen out since Paul Lambert took charge at Carrow Road.[LNB]The 24-year-old will go straight into the Dale squad to face Northampton on Saturday and will remain at Spotland until October 18.[LNB]Lambert told the club's official website: "Simon needs games.[LNB]"He came to me and asked if he could go out on loan if he wasn't in our immediate plans and this move gives him the chance to do that."[LNB][LNB]
