Ward relishing rest

Elliott Ward has welcomed the chance to rest up and take stock of Norwich's promotion challenge during the international break. The Canaries head into the free weekend occupying the second automatic promotion place - a point ahead of third-placed Swansea with eight games remaining - and defender Ward is glad of a breather before the run-in. Ward said: "There is a little break now and we'll be in high spirits still being in second. I think this little break will help us out, it's been a tough schedule for us lately. "We'll look forward to the Scunthorpe game when it comes and we'll just wait and see what happens. "We're just concentrating on each game and looking forward to the break to come back fresh for the final run-in." Ward added: "Everyone is really still playing for something, whether it's top six or whether you are battling for survival, every game is big. It's just all about having that composure and hopefully seeing it out."
