Ward out for Norwich

Norwich will be without defender Elliott Ward for the visit of Crystal Palace. Ward collected his fifth booking of the season during Saturday`s goalless draw at leaders QPR and will miss out through a one-game suspension. Left-back Adam Drury is also a doubt after he limped off against Neil Warnock`s men with a calf strain so former Rangers man Steven Smith is in line to start. Dane Jens Berthel Askou is in contention to start in the centre of defence in place of Ward as Zak Whitbread and Michael Nelson (both ankle) remain sidelined. Midfielder Andrew Surman remains a casualty with a knee injury while forward Wes Hoolahan will continue despite missing a crucial penalty at Loftus Road. The Canaries remain in third place and a win over Palace could move them level on points with second-placed Cardiff.
