Norwich's promotion hopes have been dealt a blow after Wolves recalled striker Sam Vokes from his loan spell at Carrow Road.
Vokes was a late substitute in the 5-1 derby win at Ipswich on Thursday night and in total made four appearances for the Canaries, scoring in the 2-2 draw at Watford last week.
He has returned to Molineux as cover after fellow frontmen Kevin Doyle and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake picked up injuries.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Norwich City would like to thank Mick McCarthy and Wolves for allowing Vokes to make the loan move to Carrow Road and wish him all the best for the rest of the season."
