Surman blow for Canaries

Norwich look set to be without Andrew Surman until the new year after he suffered a recurrence of a knee injury. The former Southampton midfielder had been out for two months with a similar problem, but made his comeback a fortnight ago, playing in the Canaries' last two games. But now the 24-year-old is back in the treatment room and will not play again this year. "It's a blow because he's done really well for us since he's come back," boss Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk. "He's got a problem with his knee at the minute and hopefully that will settle down and we'll get him back."
