Hammond captained Colchester to their famous 7-1 win at Carrow Road on the opening day of the season.[LNB]The midfielder has since switched clubs while his manager at Colchester, Paul Lambert, is now in charge of Norwich.[LNB]But Hammond, who will wear the captain's armband for the first time on Saturday, is confident Saints can still secure three points against the high-flying Canaries.[LNB]"That was a freak day, they will be a completely different team now," he said.[LNB]"I know the manager, he's got a winning mentality and he'll have all his players up for it. But we'll be very confident going into the game and we'll look to win it."[LNB][LNB]
