Pattison completes Sundowns switch
Pattison was signed by former manager Glenn Roeder from Newcastle in November 2007 but fell out of favour under Bryan Gunn last term.
Gunn said: "It's a great opportunity for him to go back to his native country in order to impress in the build-up to the World Cup.
"We received a bid last week and we informed Matty about that and he was happy to go and have a look at the facilities down there.
"He was pleased and we wish him all the best."
