NAME: Nathan Redmond

AGE: 19

POSITION: Winger

CLUB: Norwich

NATIONALITY: England

MARKET VALUE: £2,200,000

Nathan Redmond is emerging as one of the most exciting talents that England have to offer. After swapping the Championship and Birmingham for Norwich and the Premier League, fans can finally get a look at the winger at the top level of football.

Redmond was snapped up by Norwich for an absolute bargain of just £2m for a man that has previously been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City. Under Chris Hughton at Birmingham, the 19 year old came on leaps and bounds and chose to link up with his former manager at Carrow Road.

He made his debut in a yellow shirt against Everton in the 2-2 draw and bagged his first goal for the club two weeks later against Southampton. After terrorising the Saint’s defence all day long, he cut inside and cut a shot low past the keeper to secure Norwich’s first win of the season.

Redmond shows great pace and is likened to players such as Shaun Wright-Phillips, Aaron Lennon and Theo Walcott as English wingers who show a diminutive fleet of foot. Redmond’s main weapon is his blistering pace and his ability to beat defenders.

He has a footballing brain and can pick a pass. He has an eye for goal and is able to play from either the left of the right. He favours cutting in from the left and shooting with his right but also has the ability to cross with his left foot.

Redmond can be a fan favourite for the Canaries for years to come and can easily establish himself as an England regular.
