Canaries duo set for debuts

Cameron Jerome and Carlos Cuellar are expected to make their Norwich debuts when Crawley visit Carrow Road in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

The duo, who joined last week, were unused substitutes as the Canaries claimed the bragging rights following a 1-0 derby win at Ipswich on Saturday.

With boss Neil Adams confirming some changes will be made, striker Jerome and defender Cuellar are in line for starts as is midfielder Gary O'Neil, another recent capture.

Defender Ryan Bennett (ankle), midfielder Jonny Howson (knee) and striker Gary Hooper (calf) are doubts while full-back Martin Olsson completes his three-match suspension.

Crawley will again be without midfielder Josh Simpson and striker Matt Harrold.

Reds skipper Simpson remains sidelined with the ankle injury he sustained on the opening day of the season and Harrold is recovering from a knee operation.

The duo are closing in on returns and could be available within a week, but they will not be risked against the Canaries.

Boss John Gregory, whose side are looking for their second East Anglian scalp after knocking out Ipswich in the previous round, could recall Gavin Tomlin after the forward started Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United on the bench.
