Norwich's Coca-Cola League One title bid suffered a setback, while Leeds moved back into the automatic promotion places at the expense of Millwall.

Paul Lambert's Canaries were beaten 2-1 at Leyton Orient, Leeds beat Carlisle 3-1 and Millwall slipped back to third with a 1-1 draw at Yeovil.

Sean Thornton scored twice as Orient enhanced their survival chances, putting the hosts in front after three minutes and netting the winner after 29 minutes following Korey Smith's equaliser for the visitors, who have now won only one of the last four.

Leeds' triumph came courtesy of two goals from Luciano Becchio - the second coming after Richard Keogh had levelled for Carlisle - and a Max Gradel strike.

Yeovil led Millwall courtesy of Dean Bowditch's 26th-minute strike, but the Lions fought back and earned a point courtesy of Jonathan Obika's goal in the third minute of stoppage time.

Charlton are a point behind Millwall in fourth after a 1-0 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Colchester, with Nicky Forster's goal after 21 minutes proving the difference. The Us ended the game with 10 men after Kevin Lisbie was dismissed for two bookable offences.

Huddersfield are three points ahead of Colchester in the final play-off place after fighting back from 3-2 down to beat Walsall 4-3.

Southampton enhanced their play-off prospects with a 5-1 win at Bristol Rovers, with Rickie Lambert scoring twice against his former club.

At the other end of the table, Wycombe improved their slim survival hopes with a 3-0 win at fellow relegation candidates Tranmere, while Southend are two points behind Tranmere and a point ahead of Wycombe after a 2-2 draw with Brentford in which Francis Laurent scored twice.

Relegation-threatened Gillingham drew 1-1 with Brighton, who missed the opportunity for three points when Glenn Murray missed an 86th-minute penalty after the dismissal of Josh Gowling, while Oldham and MK Dons drew 0-0, while Hartlepool claimed a 3-0 win over already relegated Stockport.
