New keeper is under the Gunn

The two-time A-League championship-winning stopper has signed a two-year deal after leaving Melbourne Victory at the end of last season. The 28-year-old is hoping playing under Gunn, a former goalie himself who made 477 first-team appearances for the Canaries between 1986 and 1998, will increase his chances of representing Australia at next year's World Cup. "Norwich is a massive club with great crowds and it was always my first choice," said Theoklitos, who enjoyed a brief spell in England with Blackpool in 2002/03. "The fact that in Bryan Gunn they have a manager who was a great goalkeeper himself was also a factor and although there is a big challenge ahead for the club, I'm really looking forward to being part of it."
