Norwich striker Cody McDonald has hinted that he would be prepared to make his loan move to Gillingham a permanent one. The 24-year-old took his season's goal tally to 22 with a late double to give the Gills a 2-1 win at Cheltenham on Sunday and then left the door open for a possible summer move. "I love it here," McDonald told Kent Online. "The supporters are brilliant, the players are brilliant and everyone has made me feel so welcome. "It's been fantastic and you never know something could be sorted for next year. "I still have a year left on my contract at Norwich and the ball is in their court. We will wait and see and hopefully we can get something sorted. "The Norwich manager told me to get some games and goals, and that is what I've done. It's in their court whether they want to let me go or keep me. It might depend on whether or not they get promoted."
