Martin still looks back

Norwich full-back Russell Martin insists defending is still his priority despite a goalscoring run. The 25-year-old hit his fourth goal of the season in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Cardiff, and is joint fourth in the Canaries' scoring charts this season behind forwards Wes Hoolahan, Chris Martin and Grant Holt. Speaking to BBC Sport, Martin said: "I'm there to defend first and foremost, but the full-backs attack in the formation we use. "If you score a goal it's a massive bonus and there may be time for one or two more before the end of the season. "It seems we've shared the goals out equally this year, a few of the midfielders have got a few. "The gaffer's got us really fit in pre-season and I think it shows, towards the end of games we finish strongly."
