Lambert waits on duo

Norwich manager Paul Lambert will assess the fitness of Russell Martin and Wes Hoolahan before naming his side for the Boxing Day trip to Crystal Palace. Right-back Martin picked up a thigh injury during last weekend's 2-1 win at Coventry - as did forward Hoolahan. Hoolahan came on as a second-half substitute at the Ricoh Arena but lasted just 14 minutes before limping off. Leon Barnett will miss out once again after he was given an additional two-match ban for the red card he received during the 2-0 home defeat to Portsmouth at an FA Regulatory Commission hearing. Wales midfielder Andrew Crofts is expected to return from illness and on-loan Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury is fit despite suffering a knock on his ankle in the challenge that earned Coventry's Aron Gunnarsson a red card. Left-back Adam Drury and defender Zak Whitbread are close to a return after calf and hamstring injuries.
