Lambert: Rovers good value for win

Norwich boss Paul Lambert had no complaints after seeing his side go down 3-1 at Doncaster. James Coppinger grabbed a superb hat-trick to help Rovers record their first win over the Canaries since way back in 1935 and climb up to fourth place in the npower Championship in the process. And an honest Lambert felt the hosts were good value for the points. He said: "They are a good side and it's a hard place to come. They scored a wonder goal at the start and you have to hold your hands up because that was a terrific strike. "But I always thought we were in the game even when the second goal for them went in. "We played well in the second half and I can't fault my players or ask any more from them in terms of effort. When we scored and got back into it I thought we might go on and get a second goal but we had one effort cleared off the line and didn't have the luck we needed. "The third goal was a deflection which sometimes happens and there was no coming back from that really, but there were still a lot of positives for us to take out of the game."
