Norwich manager Paul Lambert praised his players after they hammered npower Championship strugglers Scunthorpe 6-0 and boosted their own promotion hopes. Grant Holt scored a hat-trick and Simeon Jackson also hit three as the Canaries ran riot at Carrow Road, moving four points clear in second place in the process. Lambert said: "I thought the players were excellent. Right from the off they were outstanding and the tempo of their play was great. "To be fair they have been brilliant for me ever since I have been here. The turnaround has been massive and they deserve everything that comes their way. "The new lads coming in (Sam Vokes and Dani Pacheco) gave us a lift and I couldn't have asked for any more from them. "Someone said recently that we are a team without any big names, well I tell you something the lads are starting to make a name for themselves now."
