The Grecians eventually decided to make the 300-mile cross-country trek after being encouraged to do so by the Football League - and duly returned home empty-handed as two goals from Grant Holt and another from Chris Martin ensured Marcus Stewart's strike was a mere consolation.[LNB]Lambert said: "We are just trying to win as many games as we can and at the moment we are certainly doing that.[LNB]"It was a tough game because Exeter came here and gave it a real go. They made it difficult for us, as I expected they would, but in the end we have come away with the three points.[LNB]"I'm just glad to keep the good run going. The lads have been terrific for me since I came here and this was another good performance.[LNB]"I'd also like to mention all the hard work that went into ensuring the game went ahead. The ground staff have done a wonderful job and a lot of the office staff helped out by clearing the snow around the ground, which just shows the sort of people we have got at this football club."[LNB][LNB]
