Lambert happy with point

Norwich boss Paul Lambert felt his side earned a good point in the 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough. Boro quickly clawed back an early Norwich opener from Grant Holt as Julio Arca's shot took a wicked deflection off Russell Martin, then had a second half strike by David Wheater ruled out for shirt-pulling, while Justin Hoyte hit the post late on. But Lambert thought his side were worthy of the point. "Boro are a good team on a good run and they made it hard for us," he said. "We were maybe fortunate that their goal was ruled out. On another day that may have stood. "So for us it is a good point and with the teams around us dropping points it could yet turn out to be a pivotal point."
